AI Animation Hackathon: “Storytelling with AI”

Objective:

To evaluate students’ understanding of AI tools by having them create an animated video story for an 8-year-old girl using AI-powered animation platforms.


Competition Guidelines

1. Eligibility & Participation

  • Open to all students who have undergone the AI tools training.
  • Participants can work individually or in teams of up to 3 members.
  • The video must be in English or any local language with English subtitles.

2. Story Requirements

  • Duration: 1.5 to 2 minutes
  • Target Audience: An 8-year-old girl
  • Format: Animated video created using AI tools
  • Theme: A fun and engaging story with a moral lesson
  • Elements: Include characters, dialogues, background music, and smooth transitions

  • Smooth transitions & effects – Avoid choppy animations.

3. Voice & Sound Effects

  • Use child-friendly voiceovers – Either record or use AI-generated voices.
  • Background music & sound effects – Enhance engagement but don’t overpower dialogues.

4. Visuals & Design

  • Bright colors & appealing designs – Keep it attractive for kids.
